So, what's a glaver anyway?

Before we get to that, a little history. I registered the tmk.com domain waaaay back in 1995 and had been using it for my personal web pages ever since. Quite some time ago, domain names became a fungible commodity and I started to receive inquiries about selling tmk.com. Most of these offers were ridiculously low (a few thousand dollars) and I would reply with a "Sorry, not for sale" canned message. This continued until late October 2015, where I got a reasonable offer"out of the blue". After some negotiation, I agreed to sell tmk.com for a bit more than the original offer.

You might be wondering what "glaver" means. There are at least two possibilities:

• To prate; to jabber; to babble. - Webster's Revised Unabridged Dictionary (1913). Some people consider what I say to be babbling, so this might be it.
• The Glaver are a fictional extraterrestrial race from David Brin's Uplift Universe. - Wikipedia. "Some Glavers have devolved to a pre-sentient state." Some people may also feel that describes me.

So, take your pick - whichever answer you like better, that's the absolute truth...
